1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and Adrologic Private Limited ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), a company incorporated under the laws of India, governing your access to and use of the JatSetu mobile application and website at www.jatsetu.com (collectively, the "Platform").

By downloading, installing, registering on, or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Platform. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older.
• The matrimonial feature is strictly available only to users who are 18 years of age or older, in compliance with applicable Indian law.
• Users between the ages of 13 and 18 may access limited features (news reading, quizzes) only with verifiable parental or guardian consent.
• You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
• You must provide a valid Indian mobile phone number for account registration and OTP verification.

3. Account Registration and Security

• Account creation requires a valid Indian mobile number. Authentication is performed via one-time password (OTP) delivered through our service provider, MSG91.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account or any other breach of security.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
• Each user is permitted to maintain only one account on the Platform. Multiple accounts operated by the same individual may be terminated.

4. User Content

The Platform allows users to submit news articles, advertisements, matrimonial profiles, quiz responses, and other content ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you agree to the following:

• You retain ownership of your User Content. However, by submitting content to the Platform, you grant Adrologic Private Limited a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display such content in connection with the operation and promotion of the Platform.
• You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights, licences, and permissions to submit and publish the User Content, and that such content does not infringe upon the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.
• All submitted news articles and advertisements are subject to editorial review and approval by our moderation team. We reserve the right to reject, modify, or remove any User Content at our sole discretion.
• You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of the User Content you submit.

5. Matrimonial Feature Guidelines

The matrimonial feature is designed to assist members of the Jat community in finding suitable life partners. By using this feature, you agree to the following additional terms:

• You must be at least 18 years of age (or the minimum legal age for marriage in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to create a matrimonial profile.
• All information provided in your matrimonial profile must be truthful, accurate, and not misleading. Providing false information regarding age, marital status, education, income, or any other material fact is a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination.
• The Platform is a facilitator only. We do not verify the identity, background, or claims of matrimonial profile holders. You are solely responsible for conducting your own due diligence before entering into any relationship or commitment.
• You shall not use the matrimonial feature for any purpose other than genuine matrimonial search. Harassment, stalking, solicitation, fraud, or any other misuse is strictly prohibited.
• Caste and gotra information is collected solely for the purpose of community-specific matrimonial matching as per user preferences. The Platform does not promote or endorse discrimination based on caste.
• We are not liable for any disputes, misrepresentations, or damages arising from interactions between matrimonial users.

6. Prohibited Content and Conduct

You agree not to use the Platform to:

• Post, transmit, or share content that is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive, threatening, hateful, or otherwise objectionable.
• Incite violence, communal hatred, or discrimination based on religion, caste, gender, ethnicity, or any other protected characteristic.
• Publish false, misleading, or unverified news or information.
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights, privacy, or publicity rights of any third party.
• Engage in spam, unsolicited advertising, or any form of commercial solicitation not authorised by the Company.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Upload viruses, malware, or any other harmful code.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, other user accounts, or any associated systems or networks.
• Use automated scripts, bots, crawlers, or scrapers to access or collect data from the Platform.
• Manipulate quiz scores, leaderboard rankings, or any gamification elements through unfair means.
• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these prohibitions, without prior notice.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including but not limited to its design, layout, graphics, logos, trademarks, text, software, code, and all other content created by the Company ("Company Content"), is the exclusive property of Adrologic Private Limited and is protected under Indian and international intellectual property laws, including the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Platform or Company Content.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any software used in the Platform.
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on the Platform.
• Use the "JatSetu" name, logo, or branding in any manner without prior written consent.

8. Advertisements and Payments

• The Platform offers paid advertising plans that allow users and businesses to promote their products, services, or events to the community.
• All advertisement submissions are subject to review and approval. We reserve the right to reject any advertisement that violates these Terms, our content guidelines, or applicable law.
• Payments for advertising plans are processed through third-party payment gateways. We do not store your payment card or banking details.
• All fees paid for advertising are non-refundable unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase or required by applicable law.
• We do not guarantee any specific results, impressions, clicks, or conversions from advertisements placed on the Platform.
• Advertisers are solely responsible for ensuring their advertisements comply with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) guidelines, and all other applicable laws and regulations.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• Adrologic Private Limited, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Platform.
• Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Platform shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us, if any, in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
• We shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the actions, omissions, or content of other users, including matrimonial profile holders and advertisers.
• We shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, internet outages, or third-party service failures.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Adrologic Private Limited, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

• Your use of or access to the Platform.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.
• Any User Content you submit to the Platform.
• Any dispute arising from your use of the matrimonial feature.

12. Termination

• You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature within the app.
• We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, including for violation of these Terms.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to intellectual property provisions, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification obligations.
• Following account termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Certain data may be retained as required by law.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

• These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
• Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through good-faith negotiation between the parties.
• If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days of written notice, either party may refer the dispute to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration shall be conducted by a sole arbitrator mutually appointed by the parties, and the seat of arbitration shall be in India.
• Subject to the arbitration clause above, the courts of competent jurisdiction in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising under these Terms.

15. Modifications to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. Material changes will be communicated through an in-app notification or a prominent notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or if modification is not possible, shall be severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other legal notices or policies published by us on the Platform, constitute the entire agreement between you and Adrologic Private Limited regarding the use of the Platform and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
